So I finally hit the single digits! The big "One" (I'm trying to do that quote thing with my fingers). Just reflecting back on the awesome year...lots of pooping, a little crying and a whole lot sleeping. But seriously, I've enjoyed a trip to San Diego, Las Vegas, Disneyland and Hollywood. I met some really cool friends at day care and at church, but my favorite is the family time. All of the Grandparents are great, my parents are pretty cool (you know—
for parents), and I have lots of fun Aunts and Uncles.
They all came over for a little birthday party. It was perfect... Just family and a few dear friends. Nothing crazy like bounce houses and annoying clowns. I'm only one for Pete's sake. My Grandmother made an incredible chocolate cake with white icing. I was trying to eat it but everyone was taking pictures and laughing, so I decided to give them a show. I smeared a little cake on my gob, tossed a few chunks on the floor, raised my cake-covered hands in the air and yelled something unintelligible (there's a first time for everything). Looking forward to year 2.
Until next time,
Zak
